My wife loves this place, all the food is really good...from breakfast to lunch. I can assure you that all the food is really good. I like the enchiladas (mole and red), and the caldillo norteño is also delicious. I have been visiting this great restaurant for more than 14 years, I have seen waiters changes, remodeling, etc.. but the flavor and quality of the dishes has never changed!!! So if you want something delicious this is your place.

My favorite steak! I love this restaurant. Whenever we are in town, it is our top choice. I have been eating at this establishment two or three times a year since 2019. Still the best!

I visited La Espadaña on Sunday at 11 AM, and it was incredibly busy—I had to wait about 45 minutes for a table. Despite the wait, the ambiance was great, and the staff was polite and very helpful. The food was well worth it! I ordered the Machaca and eggs along with their signature Café de la Olla, and everything was delicious. Definitely recommended!

We took a day-trip down south and went to this popular restaurant for lunch. There was a pretty long line when we arrived. It was a really hot day but luckily the wait was under a shaded area, not too bad. After about 20 minutes they called our name. The atmosphere was lively and loud. Lots of hustle and bustle with the staff coming and going with food, taking orders, seating people, etc. The decor was very nice and modern. The place was packed. No wonder why. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and we enjoyed it very much. I had pozole and mother dear had seafood of some sort. As mentioned, we each thought our food was so yummy. We left with our bellies full. Im looking forward to going back. We were grateful too for the super clean restrooms! A rarity for sure. Good vibes, great food, and clean bathrooms! You can't go wrong at La Espadaña.

The food here is great, I mostly do breakfast but today I was running late and they stop at 1pm and got there around 1:10pm so I decided to try their lunch menu and it didn’t disappoint. I had the enchiladas rojas and they were tasty and cheesy and plenty of chicken also. The mole enchiladas are also very good and they have a great selection of desserts you can grab. The prices are also a plus. Will be coming back again and again.

The place was awesome food was good, down side was that the beans they cook it with pork manteca... & there's no other option for people that don't eat that animal product. But the rest of the food was excellent Staff is all friendly & and lot customer service. Thank you & I'll see you guys, by the way highly recommend this restaurant one of the best.

We finally returned after 15+ years. We don’t know why we stopped coming. The food, service and environment are excellent. After all these years the inside looks the same. Meaning in really good condition. The chile has one of the best stuffing flavors my wife has tasted. The meat was on the spot M/R and the side enchilada was delicious. The caldo was also good. Except that we only got one garbanzo. The tampiqueña also comes with soup or salad and a side plate of a type of birria meat.

One of the reliable old go to places in Tijuana for a delicious breakfast or a nice late dinner. Had not been there in years due to the high volume crowds in the morning but went around 2pm and had a very nice and delicious meal. Had the grilled chicken breast with chipotle sauce and it was great. The order included a side dish of machaca and tortilla as soup and my mother had the classic Caldo.Tlalpeño which she really enjoyed. They serve you hand made tortillas with the caldo. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is very relaxed with old mariachi standards as background music at the right volume. Had a piece of carrot cake with cafe de olla as dessert. Their desserts are some of the best around. I was glad we were able to return to this old restaurant and see they are still a high quality family oriented place to eat and relax.
